I started this business when my son was just 5 months old. My husband was a student, working hard to finalize his PhD. We were in a tough place—I was applying for jobs and getting no responses. As a migrant mother, I found myself caught between hope and hardship. But one day, I looked at my situation and said to myself: “I can’t continue like this. I have to do something.” So I created Sparkling Touch.

It wasn’t easy. I was a wife, a new mum, and suddenly an entrepreneur, all at once. We were struggling to pay for childcare. There were days I would travel all the way to the East Coast, around Rocky Hills, just to clean at the Avalon Coastal Retreat.

There were moments I thought I couldn’t do it. But I pushed through. I never knew I had this strength within me—until I had no choice but to be strong.
